Seattle Seahawks place kicker Efren Herrera finsihed the 1979 season connecting on 19 of 23 field goal attempts and finishing the season with 100 total points. He also punted once and caught a 20 yard pass from quarterback Jim Zorn on a fake field goal against the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football.
Jack Patera
Jack Patera studies the game as the first Seattle Seahawks head coach. Patera was named the 1978 NFL Coach of the Year for taking his third year team to a 9-7 season, missing the playoffs by just one game.
