Evergreen Point Floating Bridge

The 520/Evergreen Point Floating bridge that connects Seattle and Bellevueis the worldest longest floating bridge at 7,578 feet. It was opened August 28, 1963. The span, renamed in 1988 for former Washington Governor Albert D. Rosellini, would serve the transportation needs of the Lake Washington community for 50 years before a scheduled replacement program and a two-year construction project that will have the new bridge in place in 2014.
