The northern island of Kauai attracts many visiting to view the grandest of canyons in the Pacific, the lush and canvernous Waimea Canyon. Not nearly as large as it Arizona counterpart, Waimea Canyon is equally inspiring with with numerous vantage points and visitas of the sunken volcano that collasped over 4 million years ago on what is the oldest island in the Hawaiian Island chain.
